Re: Introduce yourself
Hi,
I'm David Craigie, I live in Wick and work for Kongsberg Maritime (Osprey Electronics)
I've been into biking for about 10 years but only progressed to a full licence in 2006.
I've got a black Triumph Sprint RS.
I'm looking forward to getting some good rides out and good craic with the folk in the club.

Re: Introduce yourself
Hi David, welcome to the club, so your the guy with the black rs, seen you about town few times. Had one myself a few years ago and thought it a very under rated bike, had heaps of fun on it.
Re: Introduce yourself
Cheers Mutley,
Yeah I like the RS, its fast enough for a bit of weekend blasting (obviously never going to keep up with the sporty stuff....but I can live with that!) and comfy enough to throw the girlfriend and luggage on and take off touring.
I had an older CBR600 before the RS and like to think of the RS as a bigger version of the CBR.
Its a very usable all-rounder and as you say much under rated

Re: Introduce yourself
Hi Folks.
The names Lee from Keiss. (Hello Irish! )
I've spent the last 2 months smacking an old Yammy FJ1100 with a hammer and as soon as Paul MOT's it I'll be on the road.
It's the first bike I've had in about 8 years, I had a lot of back problems after a 15mph spill in London when I was a bike courier. It's nice to finally be back on 2 wheels.
Look forward to seeing you guys and girls around. Time off is a bit of a problem at weekends 'cos I run a Taxi - but I'll do what I can.

Introduction
Howdy folks.
Thought I would join Tugmistress and be another female on the forum so, Mutley and Irish, you better be on your best behaviour now.
I currently have a ZXR400L which is not road worthy at the mo - she is in the garage in one or two pieces (could be more, its been a while since I have seen her ).
Tugmistress, how's e bike going?? Missed you at AMS when you were in for your gloves.
My aim, over the winter is to get work done on the bike and have her on the road for the summer next year (you know, the time of year when it is slightly warmer!!)
Anyway, I have introduced myself and hope to get to know you lot

Re: Introduce yourself
Hi Nibbler
between our two nicks the blokes have got something to think about lmao
was about to drop engine out of the bike this week for a rebuild, but the damn truck has sprung a water leak i noticed the other day and tonight it suddenly got worse so a quick look at that tomorrow, if i can't see/fix it myself then it's off to the garage thursday so the little futt futt putt will have to get me to work for a few days lol, you ever get the feeling it never rains but pours?
Glad to have another female around - fancy a pint one night?

Re: Introduce yourself
I was glad to see you were here too. Between the pair of us we should be able to keep this lot in order (oops, did I say order - meant disorder!!)
A pint sounds blinkin good but will have to wait till other half is home - he can keep an eye on the little one then
Hope e truck is not a serious problem. It was good to hear e little 50 is doing you proud after your wee blimp with it.
Also hope you dont have far to travel to work. No much weight in a little 50cc and with these winds you watch yourself girlie - no wheelies

haha couldn't wheelie if i tried, only ever did one once, when i got my first bike and i shit myself, middle of Hull at traffic lights lol
only got a mile to go to work if that lol
i reckon disorder is better than order any day of the week
let me know when OH home and something shall be arranged
