Maggots were also the ugliest beasts around London (hence their nickname!!) when I despatched there.
I rode another bombproof bike....the Kwak GT550. Still an excellent tourer if you can get hold of a decent one. Or the 750 for that matter. The blue ones go faster!!

This will be a quick and easy reply!!

First bike was a pocket rocket - Aprilia RS125R. Man, she could go and then some.

My current one - Kawasaki ZXR400L (93 me thinks). As the introduction thread says, she is in bits at e mo but is a project for me to get up and running.

Told you this would be quick. Oh, forgot about me pink pushbike I had way back when I was a young lass Rolling Eyes

Luvverly things they are, not as quick as it's contempory rival - the GPZ 900 - but a lot better handling and with Brembo brakes that wouldn't be out of place on a modern bike.

Downsides are a duplex chain drive - frighteningly expensive to replace and a habit of eating clutches...not that those two items can be linked to my riding style at the time...no sirree........

If you are ever lucky enough to get your mitts on one, Irish - get some engine bars pronto. Just toppling over can welly the ignition electronics under the bean tin metal covers. Rolling Eyes
